Financo Advises OKA on its Acquisition of Wisteria
Founded in 1999 by Lady Annabel Astor, Sue Jones and Lucinda Waterhouse, OKA is a leading British high-end interiors lifestyle brand that epitomizes British design, class and style and produces timeless handmade pieces with unique statement finishes. Acquired in January 2018 by Investindustrial, OKA engaged Financo to identify a U.S.-based home furnishings and décor business with a similar design, style sensibility, multi-channel strategy and culture to acquire, scale and utilize as a platform. Wisteria and its founders, Andrew and Shannon Newsom, were an ideal fit for OKA, and a partnership was formed. The Newsom family will continue to lead, operate and grow Wisteria, and they will be vital resources in the launch of OKA in the U.S.
