Petrie Stores Corporation, a major retailer of women’s apparel under a variety of brand names in over 1,700 locations, turned to Financo to identify and facilitate a financial partnership that would enable the company to maximize value for its shareholders. Financo’s long standing relationship with Petrie Stores enabled us to understand the company’s financial needs. Accordingly, Financo conducted a process that resulted in a buyout of the company by E.M. Warburg Pincus.
